Investigators say robber recognized clerk and went somewhere else.

WHEAT RIDGE, Colorado -- Police in Colorado are looking for a man seen in a bizarre surveillance video.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the man had his face covered with a mask when he walked into a convenience store Tuesday.

But the clerk said the man looked at him and then said, "(Expletive), I was going to rob this place but I know you."

The robber then asked the clerk if he knew him. When the clerk said he didn't, the man said, "Good" and walked out of the store while giving a "thumbs up" sign to the clerk.

Not long afterwards, another convenience store in the area was robbed.
