Fullerton Chase Bank cleared after unknown substance found in envelope

FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A Chase Bank in Fullerton was closed for a few hours Wednesday after an unknown substance was found in an envelope.

According to Fullerton police, an employee found the envelope around 5:15 p.m. at a branch located in the 3300 block of Yorba Linda Boulevard.

Police, fire and hazmat officials were called to the scene for an investigation. The scene was clear by 9 p.m.
