Don't call her a "Bond girl;" 50-year-old Monica Bellucci to play love interest in new 007 film

Watch out Ursula Andress and Halle Berry, because Monica Bellucci is joining your ranks as the newest Bond girl.



Bond girls throughout the years




Bellucci will star in the upcoming 007 flick "Spectre" alongside Daniel Craig and Christoph Waltz. Bellucci, 50, will also be the oldest starring Bond girl, or woman, rather, in history at 50 years old.



However, Bellucci prefers to be referred to as "a Bond woman, or perhaps a Bond lady," according to Good Morning America. Bellucci is also about 20 years older than the average Bond girl, who typically hover around the age of 30. and is betting on her maturity to shake things up in the Bond universe.



Bellucci is best known for her roles in 2002's "Irreversible" and "The Matrix" sequels in 2003. "Spectre" will be released later in 2015. What do you think of Bellucci as the latest Bond girl?
