OC man arrested in connection with body found at Irvine construction site

IRVINE, Calif. (KABC) -- A Santa Ana man has been arrested in connection with a June 2015 murder case in Irvine.

Police said 21-year-old Jacob Margo has been taken into custody for the murder of 19-year-old Octavio Alcala, also of Santa Ana.

Alcala's body was found by workers at a remote construction site near Wolf Trail and Orchard Hills on June 5, 2015.

Neither worked at the site where the body was found lying face-down in a graded area without any buildings nearby, according to officials.

Irvine police said Margo and Alcala knew each other, but wouldn't comment on a motive.
