In the last 20 years, the number of Americans who have developed kidney stones has increased by 70 percent and the fastest increase has been in children.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- In the last 20 years, the number of Americans who have developed kidney stones has increased by 70 percent and the fastest increase has been in children.

Kidney stones are small, hard deposits that develop in the kidneys and can be incredibly painful.
