LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Dodgers will hold a victory parade in downtown Los Angeles on Friday at 11 a.m., starting at Gloria Molina Grand Park in front of City Hall and ending near the intersection of 5th and Flower Street.
Downtown L.A. is being transformed into a giant Dodger street party for the parade. Then there will be a ticketed celebration at Dodger Stadium.

A look back at 1988 Dodgers World Series parade
The last World Series title for the Dodgers was 2020, but the last victory parade was when the Dodgers won in 1988.

Fans swarm players outside Dodgers Stadium after they return to LA
After the Dodgers returned to Los Angeles as World Series champions, several players were mobbed by boisterous fans outside Dodger Stadium as the players drove out of the parking lot.
Among the players who were mobbed was pitcher Anthony Banda, who rolled down his passenger-side window and greeted well-wishers.
Asked by ABC7 how he felt about the Dodgers' win over the Yankees, he used an expletive and said "amazing" with a smile.
After the World Championship Dodgers returned victorious from New York, several players were mobbed by boisterous fans outside Dodger Stadium.

Dodgers Stadium to host World Series rally
After the Dodgers parade through downtown Los Angeles on Friday, the players will be taken to Dodgers Stadium for a ticketed celebration rally around 12:15 p.m.
Tickets for the event went on sale at noon Thursday but sold out in less than an hour.
The rally will have merchandise, food and entertainment, including views from the parade on the scoreboards.
Parking for the event will open at 8:30 a.m., while stadium gates will open at 9 a.m.
Dodgers parade route Friday
The Dodgers World Series parade will take place in downtown Los Angeles, and players are expected to travel along the route in double-decker buses.
The parade route is about 1.2 miles and is expected to last about 45 minutes.
The parade will start at Gloria Molina Grand Park in front of City Hall on Spring Street. Mayor Karen Bass will kick off the parade, which will then make its way down 1st Street and march four blocks to S. Grand Avenue. From there, the parade heads to 5th Street, ending at 5th and Flower Street.
