LOMITA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 28-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed a man to death on a Lomita sidewalk early Saturday morning has been taken into custody.
Witnesses say they heard some type of disturbance before the stabbing occurred and found the injured man in the 26000 block of South Western Avenue at about 12:30 a.m.
Los Angeles sheriff's deputies responded and transported 31-year-old Roderick Dunba'r to a local hospital, where he later died.
Deputies say the unidentified female suspect was arrested Saturday at 11:15 a.m. She was booked for murder at Lomita Sheriff's Station and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
The female suspect allegedly lives near the location where Dunba'r was found. Their relationship has not been disclosed.
