Man shot to death outside Panorama City school

PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One person was killed following a shooting outside a middle school in Panorama City. Now, the search is on for the suspect.

The shooting was reported around 11:35 p.m. Sunday near Vista Middle School on the 8200 block of Noble Avenue.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were unclear.

One man was shot in the upper torso. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests were made and investigators have not released a description of the shooter.

The investigation did not disrupt school operations.
