LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Firefighters across Southern California were busy last weekend fighting flames in Montebello, Simi Valley and the Angeles National Forest.
They faced some of the worst weather and drought conditions in the country.
Now, two Super Scoopers and one Erickson Air Crane from Canada are joining the fight as wildfire season begins. Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich said the scoopers and air crane are part of a 90-day $8 million contract.
