2 victims pistol whipped during North Hills home invasion

NORTH HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police are investigating after four to five men pistol whipped two victims during a violent home invasion in North Hills early Tuesday.

The incident occurred in the 9900 block of Sepulveda Boulevard around 12:30 a.m.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition. It's unclear if anything was taken from the residence.

Authorities say one of the victims recognized one of the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
