LADERA RANCH, Calif. (KABC) -- A brutal beating at an Orange County elementary school playground was caught on camera, and the two teens at the center of the attack are behind bars.

WARNING: VIDEO HAS DISTURBING CONTENT

The video, posted on the Ladera Ranch No Bullying Facebook page, shows the teens punching and kicking a 16-year-old unconscious. According to the Facebook post, the attack happened on May 20 at the Chaparral Elementary School playground.

On May 21, Orange County sheriff's deputies arrested a juvenile and 18-year-old Robert Ayala, who appears in the video wearing a blue shirt and throwing what looks like a professional wrestling move on the victim.

"It's obviously a horrendous assault," said Lt. Jeff Hallock of the O.C. Sheriff's Department.

The victim was hospitalized in unknown condition.

Ayala is being held on $50,000 bail for assault with a deadly weapon and battery with significant injuries. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 15.

Both suspects attend Tesoro High School. Authorities say they have not determined a motive for the beating.
