Missing 14-year-old girl found safe

WESTCHESTER, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 14-year-old girl from Westchester who police believed was heading out of state to meet someone she met online was found Friday in good condition.

Lauren Jackson was found around 7 p.m. in good condition, authorities said.

The young girl was last seen leaving her home in the 6700 block of 88th Street around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. She was wearing a black shirt, a dark blue jean jacket and grey sweatpants.

Police said they had found information on her computer indicating she may have been heading to either North Carolina or Georgia.

Police searched the Los Angeles International Airport and local hotels.
