PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- A police chase sparked on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena on Friday after officials said a woman tried to strike someone with an SUV.

The suspect was being chased by Pasadena police, who went into tracking mode and the California Highway Patrol took the lead on the chase.

Pasadena police said the report came in as an attempted felony assault with a vehicle. Officials said no one was struck or injured by the vehicle.

The chase went from the 134 Freeway to the 101 Freeway. The driver then went north on the 23 and onto the 118 Freeway through Simi Valley.

The woman drove along the 210 Freeway near Tujunga before eventually exiting the freeway in Pasadena.

Officials said the driver could face charges of attempted felony assault with a vehicle, reckless driving, failure to yield, and more.
