NEW YORK (KABC) -- Water has been restored to a Greenwich Village neighborhood in New York City after a water-main break that flooded the area and nearby subway lines.
The 12-inch main broke around 7 p.m. Wednesday under 175 W. 13th St. About 500 people had to be evacuated from a subway train underground, but service on the 1 and 2 lines was running again by 5 a.m.
There were no reports of injuries.
