Major road closures in effect in Hollywood for Oscars ceremony

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Oscar Sunday is here, and that means several major road closures and restrictions are in place around Hollywood for the star-studded ceremony.
Hollywood Boulevard is closed between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue through 6 p.m. Tuesday, and it is also shut between La Brea Avenue and Cahuenga Boulevard until Monday. MTA subway trains will bypass the Hollywood-Highland station completely until 6 a.m. Monday, which is when service for the first scheduled train is set to resume.
Street closures and restrictions:
Hawthorn Avenue is closed from Highland Avenue to Orange Drive through 6 a.m. Monday.
Orchid Street is closed from 60 feet south of Franklin Boulevard to Orchid Alley until 6 a.m. Monday, except for residents, emergency vehicles and hotel loading.
Orange Drive is closed from Orchid Alley to Hollywood Boulevard until 6 a.m. Monday, except for local residents, local business access and emergency vehicles.
Hollywood Boulevard is closed between La Brea Avenue and Cahuenga Boulevard. Hollywood Boulevard from La Brea to Orange Drive and from Highland Avenue to Cahuenga will reopen at 4 a.m. Monday.
Highland Avenue is closed between Franklin Avenue and Sunset Boulevard until 4 a.m. Monday.
Orange Drive is closed from Hawthorn Avenue to Hollywood Boulevard until 6 a.m. Monday.
Hawthorn Avenue is closed from Orange Drive to La Brea Boulevard and from Highland Avenue to McCadden Place until 4 a.m. Monday. (Exception for local residents, local business access and emergency vehicles)
McCadden Place is closed between Yucca Street and Hollywood Boulevard until 4 a.m. Monday. (Exception for local residents, local business access and emergency vehicles)
Yucca Street is closed between Highland Avenue and Wilcox Avenue until 4 a.m. Monday. (Exception for local residents, local business access and emergency vehicles)
Wilcox Avenue is closed between Sunset and Cahuenga boulevards until 4 a.m. Monday. (Exception for local residents, local business access and emergency vehicles)
Hawthorn Alley is closed from Orange Drive to Highland Avenue until 6 a.m. Monday.
Hawthorn Alley behind El Capitan Theatre is closed from 300 feet east of Orange Drive east to the "T" alley until 6 a.m. on Tuesday. The remainder of Hawthorn Alley will remain open from the "T" east to Highland Avenue.
Access to streets that end at or intersect Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue will be restricted at the discretion of the LAPD and LADOT.
The south curb lane of Hawthorn Avenue is closed from Highland Avenue to Orange Drive until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Johnny Grant Way is closed from Highland Avenue to Orchid Street until 6 a.m. Monday.
Sidewalk closures and restrictions:
The south sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard from Orange Drive to Highland Avenue is closed until 6 a.m. Tuesday, with the exception of an 8-foot pedestrian access.
The north sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Dolby Theatre portal is closed until 6 a.m. Tuesday. This is a complete sidewalk closure in front of the entrance to Awards Walk. Pedestrian traffic will be re-routed and emergency access will be available.
The north sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard from Highland Avenue to Orange Drive is closed, allowing an 8-foot pedestrian access, until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The pedestrian crosswalk, mid-block on Hollywood Boulevard between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue, is closed until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The north sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard is closed from Highland Avenue to Orange Drive to 6 a.m. Monday. Pedestrian traffic will be rerouted to the south sidewalk.
The west sidewalk of Highland Avenue is closed from Johnny Grant Way south to Hollywood Boulevard until 6 a.m. Monday.
The north and south sidewalks of Hawthorn Avenue is closed from Highland Avenue to Orange Drive are closed until 6 a.m. Monday.
The north sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard from Highland Avenue to 300 feet east of Highland Avenue is closed until 6 a.m. Monday.
The south sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard from Highland Avenue to 300 feet east of Highland Avenue is closed until 6 a.m. Monday, except for 8-foot pedestrian access.
The south sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard directly in front of the north-south running Hawthorn Alley is closed until 6 a.m. Monday. Fencing has been placed along the entire sidewalk, and no pedestrian access will be in place to cross the alley.
The east sidewalk of Highland Avenue from Hollywood Boulevard to Hawthorn Avenue is closed until 6 a.m. Monday, except for 8-foot pedestrian access.
The west sidewalk of Highland Avenue from Hollywood Boulevard south to Hawthorn Avenue is closed until 6 a.m. Monday, except for 8-foot pedestrian access.
The east sidewalk of Highland Avenue from Yucca Street south to the alley is closed until 6 a.m. Monday, except for 8-foot pedestrian access.
The north and south crosswalks on Hollywood Boulevard at the Highland Avenue intersection are closed until 6 a.m. Monday.
