Fire erupts at abandoned building in Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- A fire ripped through an abandoned commercial building in Oxnard Monday night.



The blaze erupted at the former Halaco metal processing facility located on the 6200 block of Perkins Road just before 7 p.m.



Crews were able to knock down the flames. No firefighters were injured during that process.



The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
