Athletic dogs compete in Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge

Furry athletes put their paws to the test in the 2016 Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge Eastern Regionals in Atlanta, Georgia.

These adorable dogs gathered on April 1 and 2 in Atlanta to compete in a series of canine competitions including Diving Dog, where each contestant jumped into a pool while fetching at the same time. The highlights of the event included Prospect, a 6-year-old rescue dog diving 30 feet 7 inches to win the Diving Dog event and an adorable Pembroke Welsh Corgi competing against the big dogs in Freestyle Flying Disc.

The winners of each event earned a spot in the national finals that will happen on Sept. 25 and 26 in St. Louis.
