SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A suspect was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Santa Ana Friday. No officers were injured.
Authorities say two officers were looking for a named robbery suspect and his vehicle at the time.
Officers located the vehicle and attempted to contact the individual in the 1000 block of West 3rd Street when an officer-involved shooting occurred at about 11 a.m.
It's unclear what sparked the shooting. The suspect's name has not been released.
Police say the suspect was believed to be the robbery suspect they were looking for.
