Gangs blamed for most of August murders in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- It's been a deadly summer in South Los Angeles. Gang-related crime has claimed most of the 49 lives lost in August.

Eyewitness News reporter Leo Stallworth talked with some of the victims and looked at new efforts to stem the violent tide. Watch his full report in the video above.
