LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- It was quite the sight all over Los Angeles Tuesday night as dozens of landmarks and buildings lit up in LA 2028 colors.
It's all in anticipation of the official announcement that L.A. will host the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.

Among the landmarks are The Coliseum, where the Olympic flame was lit earlier in the evening.
Also sporting colors was the Capitol Records building, L.A. City Hall, the L.A. Zoo, the Disney water tower and the Greek Theater.
The International Olympic Committee is meeting in Peru this week and will announce L.A. as the host of the 2028 Olympics Wednesday.
