Tracy Morgan released from rehab 1 month after crash

TRENTON, N.J. (KABC) -- Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan has been released from a rehab facility one month after he was seriously injured in a New Jersey car crash that killed a fellow comedian.

Morgan will continue an "aggressive outpatient program" at home, spokesman Lewis Kay said. The former "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" star had been at the facility since June 20.

Morgan is healing from a broken leg and broken ribs. A limousine van he was riding in was hit from behind by a Wal-Mart truck on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7.

Comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair was killed in the crash. Comedian Ardley Fuqua and another passenger, Jeffrey Millea, were injured.

On Thursday, lawyers for Morgan filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart, claiming the retailer was negligent in the crash.
