Jesse's Burgers launches March Madness challenge

NEW CANEY, Texas -- Jesse Flores pours his love for sports into his restaurant, Jesse's Burgers and Shakes. The building is painted in Columbia Blue, a nod to the Houston Oilers. There are also murals dedicated to legends from the Houston Rockets and Astros.

"Being a restaurant owner, it just made sense to put smash burgers and sports together," Flores said.

For March Madness, Flores is hosting a Perfect Picks Challenge. Flores said whoever gets the perfect bracket will win free burgers for life. If no perfect bracket is made, the best score will get free burgers for a month. The challenge closed on Thursday, March 20.

As for the NCAA tournament, Flores said he's cheering on the home team, "I'm definitely rooting for the U of H Coogs. Go Coogs!"

Jesse's Burgers and Shakes is located at 23020 Speed Street in New Caney.
