Police are asking for the public's help with finding two men who robbed a Venice area IHOP restaurant at gunpoint at 5:25 a.m. on April 13.Investigators say the pair walked into the restaurant on Lincoln Boulevard and confronted a female cashier. One of them, armed with a handgun, threatened to shoot her and demanded cash.

The two got the key to the cash register and stole money from the drawer. They also stole the cashier's money and her cell phone before they fled on foot.

The gunman is described as a 17-year-old African American standing about 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds and wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with the logo "Big Homie" written across the front.

His accomplice was about the same age, and height, and slightly heavier. He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and black beanie.

Anyone who has any information about the crime is asked to call 1-877-LAPD-24-7.
