School-safety event aims to prevent campus violence

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A school-safety event was held across from the University of Southern California campus Friday.

Teachers and school administrators heard from LAPD Chief Charlie Beck about how to prevent violence on school campuses -- and when it does happen, how to handle it.
