Yoga could help breast cancer survivors

Researchers at Duke University Medical Center tracked nearly 40 women with early stage breast cancer as they participated in a special eight-week yoga awareness program. It targeted menopausal symptoms through specific stretching postures and breathing exercises.

Researchers say the women reported fewer hot flashes and less fatigue and joint pain.

They say breast cancer survivors have limited treatment options for menopause because they can't have hormone replacement therapy.
