Fibromyalgia relief may be at the gym

Fibromyalgia is a syndrome characterized by muscle pain, fatigue and trouble sleeping. But a new workout may help. The latest research from Finland suggests women with fibromyalgia may want to pick up some weights. Some research has shown that fibromyalgia patients have lower than normal muscle strength and aerobic capacity.

After studying two groups of women with a median age of 58, experts found that some weight and strength training was helpful in reducing fatigue and pain for those with fibromyalgia.
