Man found dead, burned in East L.A.

EAST LOS ANGELES The victim was found behind a commercial building in the 5000 block of Whittier Boulevard shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies said the man was a transient, and they don't know if he was burned to death, or if he suffered the burns after he died.

Authorities are treating the death as suspicious.
