Abdul may be the new 'Star Search' host

LOS ANGELES The former "/*American Idol*/" judge is reportedly close to signing-on to a new version of "Star Search" on ABC, where she'd serve as both judge and host.

Abdul though hasn't confirmed the reports, tweeted Tuesday "until you hear it from me, you can't believe what you read."

Another rumor surrounding Abdul, that's she might be part of Simon Cowell's new show "The X-Factor."

Cowell's show doesn't air until next year.
