Two teenage girls have been arrested and accused of witness intimidation in the shooting death of a Long Beach high school student.

Melody Ross, 16, was shot and killed after a homecoming football game at Woodrow Wilson High School on October 30, last year. Police said Ross was an innocent bystander.

On Friday police arrested a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl at the school. Investigators said the girls threatened witnesses inside and outside of court. The names of the suspects have not been released.

Two 16-year-old boys, Tom Love Vinson and Daivion Davis, have already been charged in the killing.
