New NASA images show Saturn's bright aurora

LOS ANGELES The images are helping scientists understand what drives some of the solar system's most vibrant light shows.

/*NASA*/ believes Saturn's aurora is connected to the angle of the sun, as well as the planet's electromagnetic field.

The aurora on Saturn occurs in a process similar to earth's northern and southern lights.
