Capt. Ted Hall and Spc. Arnie Quinones were killed when their truck plunged 800 feet off a dirt road as they battled oncoming flames.
A section of the Angeles Forest Highway through the burned area was renamed in their honor.
The Station Fire burned more than 250 square miles and destroyed 89 homes. It was the largest in L.A. County history.
