A 19-year-old male was walking home was approached by two suspects, one of whom was wearing a mask and wielding a handgun. The victim was robbed of his wallet, cash and a cellular phone. The suspects then ran away.
During the subsequent investigation, officers located several males who fit the description of the suspects. One of the suspects ran away from the scene when officers approached. He was quickly caught. The 19-year-old victim was able to identify one of the suspects.
The teen suspect was booked at the Ventura County Juvenile Hall.
The victim's property was located along with a mask and a replica handgun.
