Panera opens 3rd 'no price' policy restaurant

A restaurant is trying an interesting experiment: customers pay what they can afford.

A popular restaurant is giving more customers the option to pay what they want. The country's third "Panera Cares Cafe" has just opened in northeast Portland, Oregon.

There your bill is only a suggested donation. If customers can't afford it, they can give less, or even nothing.

Panera's founder, Ronald M. Shaich, is counting on customers' generosity. He says at the two other locations, at least 80% of the customers pay the suggested donated price or more.
