OC fire guts part of hotel under renovation

SANTA ANA, Calif. The blaze broke out at the Saddleback Inn in the 1600 block of First Street just after 10 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting through the roof of the building.

Reports say they used water cannons to shoot streams of water over the flames. It took about 90 minutes for them to knock the fire down.

No one was hurt in the fire. The cause has not yet been determined.
