An influential doctors' group is warning parents about a condition in teens known as "Facebook depression."

It's when kids don't think they measure up compared to their other Facebook friends.

Researchers at the American Academy of Pediatrics say Facebook can enhance feelings of social connectedness among well-adjusted children, but it can have the opposite effect on those prone to depression.

The group has issued guidelines encouraging parents to talk to their kids about online use.
