"Wipeout," the reality show that follows contestants through larger-than-life-sized obstacle courses, will continue for a fifth season on ABC.

The network also announced that the game show will be co-hosted by TV personality Vanessa Minnillo, replacing current co-host Jill Wagner.

Minnillo has served as co-host for MTV's "Total Request Live" and has hosted several MTV specials including "MTV's Prom Date" and "Spring Break Celebrity Fantasies." She has also hosted the ABC reality show, "True Beauty" in January 2009.

Other hosts include John Anderson of ESPN's "SportsCenter" and John Henson of E! Entertainment's "TalkSoup."

In a statement released Thursday, ABC said the show will feature new camera technology in the coming 2011-2012 season, bringing viewers closer to what's billed as the "world's largest extreme obstacle course."

"Wipeout" premiered June 2008 on ABC.
