LOS ANGELES --
Netflix subscribers will have to start paying separate fees for DVD rentals and streaming video. Until now, you could get one DVD rental at a time plus unlimited online streaming for $10 a month.
The new rates, which take effect in September for existing customers, are $8 for a DVD and $8 for online viewing.
Brand new customers will have to start paying the higher rates immediately.
