Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and other survivors of the Tucson shooting rampage will come together on Jan. 8 to honor those who died that day.

A number of events are planned to commemorate the one-year mark, but Giffords has not said what events she will attend, or whether she will make any public statements.

Six people were killed in the mass shooting and 13 others were injured, including Giffords.

The congresswoman has been undergoing extensive physical and speech therapy for the past year.
