The doctor convicted in the death of singer Michael Jackson has been barred from practicing medicine in Texas.

Doctor Conrad Murray saw patients at his practice near Houston. But the Texas Medical Board has now suspended Murray's license, preventing him from seeing patients once he's released from jail.

Murray is serving a four-year sentence for involuntary murder. His California medical license had already been revoked.
