February 15, 2012 12:00:00 AM PST
A missing couple from Sacramento was found Wednesday near Hell Hole, Calif.

A search party resumed looking for Mark Schroeder, 55, and Janette DeGrace, 52, Wednesday morning. The couple had been missing since Sunday after they went wine tasting in El Dorado County.

Friends said the couple's car became stuck in snow near Georgetown. Schroeder reportedly walked 6 miles through 2 feet of snow before he got the attention of a California Highway Patrol helicopter.

The helicopter and Schroder returned to the stuck car to rescue DeGrace.

The couple was transported to a hospital in Auburn for treatment.
