Take a break and move to lower blood sugar

According to a study in the journal Diabetes Care, taking a break every 20 minutes after a meal helps lower the body's levels of glucose and insulin.

This has been the latest research to bring attention to the hazards of sitting for long periods of time - so step away from the cubicle and take a break!

High spikes in blood sugar levels have been linked to a greater risk of heart disease and diabetes.
