Bottled water may have more cavities than tap water

LOS ANGELES

Experts from the /*Centers for Disease Control and Prevention*/ (CDC) say that's because most of the bottled water on the market does not contain fluoride, which can help fight tooth decay. Fluoride is often added to tap water.

The new study also found boys in higher-income families had higher rates of dental decay. It may be because their families are more likely to afford bottled water.
