The final four couples -- telenovela star William Levy and partner Cheryl Burke; opera singer Katherine Jenkins and partner Mark Ballas; entertainment host Maria Menounos and partner Derek Hough; and football star Donald Driver and parter Peta Murgatroyd -- will tackle a new Latin and ballroom dance. None of the final four teams have so far been in the bottom two.
"It's the strongest semifinal that I can remember," Hough said. "I think everybody's so strong and it's going to be a real tight squeeze in that final."
Hough and Menounos will perform some of the pro dancer's favorites, the Argentine Tango and the Jive.
"We're going to have to do some show stoppers to make it," Hough said.
Murgatroyd and Driver will perform both the Waltz and Samba. Murgatroyd said she's also feeling the weight on her shoulders.
"It's a lot of pressure on me to get him into the finals," she said. "I have to make sure everything's spot on and I'm doing the best for him for his abilities to try to impress the judges and impress people at home. It's an increasing load of pressure."
Jenkins and Ballas have been front-runners all season. Tthey've got the Salsa and the Quickstep this week.
Ballas said he knows what Jenkins needs to do this week to get a shot at the mirror ball trophy.
"She's got to bend her legs in Quickstep, she's got to straighten them in Salsa, and just has to be in the moment and not worry about anything but that one minute and fifteen seconds," he said.
With the competition so tight, can sex appeal help the couples generate more points and votes?
"I don't feel like taking your kit off is going to get you points," Ballas said. "I feel like good dancing, good connection with your partner, innovative routines and just good chemistry will get you votes, and if they don't, that's really what should get you votes."
Last week, there was a double elimination. Roshon Fegan and his partner Chelsie Hightower, along with Melissa Gilbert and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were booted from the ballroom.
The competition begins at 8 p.m. on ABC7.
