The accident happened at 10:11 p.m. at Telegraph Road east of Wells Road. When fire units arrived, they found two vehicles had collided head-on and one of the drivers was trapped.
The driver had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The other driver suffered minor injuries and was not transported.
