Sean Jaxon Herbert Misner was named after his father, who was killed back in June when a wildfire overcame him and 18 other elite firefighters. Sean Misner, 26, was originally from Santa Ynez, Calif.
His baby boy was born Thursday night and weighed in at 6 pounds and 15 ounces. He was 19 3/4 inches long.
Mom and baby are said to be doing well.
