Authorities responded to the area near 50th and Figueroa streets Sunday morning.
When they arrived, they found two cars riddled with bullet holes. Two bodies were also found, one in a car and the other in the street.
Several streets in the area were closed off as investigators searched for a suspect and combed the scene.
Police are calling the case a double homicide but have released few other details.
