Snake in cabin grounds Australian airline flight

CANBERRA, Australia

Workers found it before people began boarding.

The flight was grounded so the plane could be be fumigated before it returned to service.

Passengers took it all in stride.

"There's a lot of questions going on: How the hell a snake got onto a plane. Security. They scan you for everything, but not snakes, obviously," said passenger Brian McNabb.

It's not the first time a snake has been found on a Qantas flight. Earlier this year a python was seen clinging to the wings of a plane. That snake didn't fare well.
