$10K reward offered in Highland Park post office burglary

HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES

A male and a female broke into the post office located at 5930 North Figueroa Street between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. on November 13. The suspects were caught on camera.

The first suspect was described as a male with a medium build, standing about 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a light colored shirt, a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The second suspect was described as a female with a large build, standing about 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with light hair, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and pants.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service advises postal customers not to approach suspicious individuals, but to note their appearance and any associated vehicles. Burglary of a post office is a federal crime. Offenders may be fined or imprisoned for up to five years, or both.
