With a red carpet underneath, Stiller placed his hands and feet in wet cement and signed his name. When he was finished, he posed for pictures with his family - his wife, actress Christine Taylor, and their two children.
The honor comes three weeks and a day before the premiere of his latest motive, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," a remake of the 1947 film starring Danny Kaye.
The 48-year-old, the son of actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, has appeared in such films as "Meet the Parents," its sequels "Meet the Fockers" and "Little Fockers;" "Night at the Museum" and its sequel, "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian; "Tower Heist"; and "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story."
Stiller also directed "Reality Bites," "The Cable Guy" and "Zoolander."
