Police say 21-year-old Benjamin Strong walked into the Walgreens in the 2400 block of North Avenue displaying a handgun and demanding money.
As the store manager wrestled strong to the ground another employee alerted police.
The manager suffered minor injuries.
Strong was charged with attempted armed robbery with a firearm.
